Follyhood Girl of The Month

Hey everyone, Im looking to mix it up a little and do a new feature called Follyhood girl of the month. I am trying to do something similar to Eastern Surf Magazines ESM Girls. Id like to photograph someone who surfs but I am willing to shoot someone that doesnt surf if its a good fit. Im thinking surf/beach lifestyle type shots at sunrise/sunset before it gets too cold. You can keep all of the shots from the shot and Ill post my favorites on the blog. Just looking to venture into a different field of photography! Saturday Sunrise Session

Thought the waves were gonna be a little bigger yesterday morning but the low tide at 9 didnt really help. I drove straight to the washout only to see stomach high waves breaking right on the beach. Figured the pier would be a better bet for getting some shots and got some nice longboard and lifestyle shots. Lots of Paul Martin riding his own boards. Here we go...

Sunset Surf

Heres some photos from the other night. I swam around til the sun went down and the full moon came up. It was really nice. Definitely thought about 8 foot bull sharks while swimming around but luckily I wasnt on anyones menu. Enjoy the pics, let hope we start to see some action the next month with hurricane season in full swing.
