Wednesday AM Waves

Hope everyone got out sometime this week. Waves were fun the beginning of the week with the best waves early Tuesday. I was too busy surfing before work to take pictures but did take a few thursday morning.

The macbook just came in  today!! Now I need to figure out how to use this thing. Putting these up wasn't as easy as usual but I'll get the hang of it!

After Hurricane Irene, I got an email from Josh asking how he could purchase a print from a picture I took of him on the southside of the pier. The footer of his email had a link to McFadden Artwork so I checked it out and instantly emailed him back asking to trade the photos for a painting. He was stoked on it and so was I!! The picture above was what Josh painted for me!!! What an awesome deal for both of us.

PLEASE check out Josh's link above and Ive also added it to the Good Stuff section of the blog. Josh has paintings on skateboards and surfboards as well as some graffiti around Charleston. Support a local surf artist and get an original for your house!!!!

Ophelia Could Be Nice...

T.S. Ophelia is scooting by the Caribbean as we speak and could be sending some fun waves our way next week. Looks like we will be seeing signs of Ophelia starting the beginning of next week. Ive been having trouble with posting pictures but I bought a Macbook Pro 15" last week and should be getting it soon. This will also include some nice editing software so hopefully we'll see an improvement in my photos.

Anyways, lets keep our fingers crossed and hopefully we'll get some fun waves soon.

Its been nice to have waves the past few days. Looks like were also gonna be getting some waves into early next week. Gotta love September for its consistency. Waves were about stomach high this morning with a few bigger waves at the washout.

Anyways, heres a few photos from this morning. Enjoy them and get out and surf!!

Hurricane Katia!

Finally got some waves today from Katia. The tides were not the best but we make due with anything we can get! I woke up early and surfed til about noon then ran home for a quick hot pocket before I headed up to the washout from about one til two. Unfortunately, I had to work at three and will be working again tomorrow at three but wanted to take some pictures.

I'm at work now and will post a few late tonight and then hopefully surf/take photos again tomorrow with most of my pictures up by sometime tomorrow night!!!
